Seriki Oluwaseun


Born in Lagos and was brought up in Gbagada, Seriki Oluwaseun progressed through the ranks playing grassroots football in the neighborhood before joining the non-league “Gboiz FC” in 2011 who officially became Gbagada FC in 2013.
In the Lagos State FA Cup competition in 2016 against 3Pillars FC, he scored our first and only goal on the day as we went away with a 1-0 win. Two years later, in our first league appearance at the NLO2, he popped up with a historic opening goal and also bagging the second goal as we won the game against Anointed Stars FC with a 2-0 final scoreline
He was presented with the special “numero uno” award by the club being the player who opened our scoring accounts in both the FA Cup and League debuts.
Popularly nicknamed after the Brazilian legend “Kaka” particularly because of his playing style and skills. He went on to play a total of 21 official games, scoring 4 goals.
His personality and loyalty to Gbagada Football Club is one which is unwavering and he continues to be one of Blue Eagle number one fan. He continues to stay on as a club ambassador.
Even though he has professionally stopped playing football his name will forever be up in the club’s history.
Seriki will be the first player to be inducted into the Gbagada FC Foundation Hall of Fame which will be officially announced soon.
