GBAGADA FC Vs IGANMU FC.
TCC CHAMPIONSHIP CUP.
Our next Championship Cup takes us up against Iganmu as we look to seal a qualification spot into the semifinals with a win.
ABOUT OUR OPPONENT.
Iganmu having played a total of three games before this fixture will be playing their last game in the group when we meet.
With two losses and one win Iganmu has a total of three (3) points so far in the group placing them a point behind the Blues as they sit 3rd place on the log.
SECURING THE SPOT.
For us, it’s all to play for as we set our sight on an early qualification into the last four of the cup competition. A win does the job perfectly for that objective.
The key is for us to focus on our game plan and aim to secure the spot before the last matchday. Emphasis has to go to our attacking play as in the recent games chances are been created and we will need to be more clinical in our finishing.
This is a side we’ve beaten once this season but in a different competition and we do expect them to bring in their best foot coming into this one.
Tactical angles, discipline and concentration will be vital for the rest of the game and keeping our composure in defense as it’s been in the last few games will be quite encouraged to get a decent result out of this one.
ABOUT THE MATCH.
A win for the Blues takes us into seven (7) points which automatically secures our spot in the semifinals.
Iganmu will be looking to get back to winning after back to back losses and a win gets them to six (6) points in what is their final game in the group.
WHEN AND WHERE?
The kick-off is at 9 am at the Remo Stars Stadium, Ikenne on Tuesday 13th.
