The Building Process.

Concluding with another good test in midweek saw us played in a 3-0 loss in our last warm-up game. Assistant Coach Obizuo Henry still taking charge of the team gives his technical thoughts on the week.
As the season opener draws nearer the squad is been geared and shaped up in several ways as the building process also continues within the team.

The Coach also gave a heads up on keeping to the safety precautions as regarding the outbreak of the Coronavirus epidemic.

ON THE LAST RESULT.

O.H: ‘I think we played a very decent side in terms of quality, not to take away the hard work our boys have also put up in the past weeks.

We lost a game where we didn’t perform to our best which the lads realise we could have done better. But you know, that’s why these games are very important for the team.’

ABOUT THE TEAM MENTALITY.

O.H: ‘The general feeling in the team is very good and it’s important for every one of us to keep a positive mind going into the season.

I am assured of the squad and the mentality of the players, they all know what the manager wants from each of them and that’s very key to the objective of the team.’

THE WEEK IN TRAINING.

O.H: ‘We had good sessions over the week and we had the early game in midweek to stretch ourselves further.

Fagbayi Semiu was injured in the last game but he was back with the group and has recovered from the slight knock he had from the previous game.’

ON THE SQUAD STRUCTURE.

O.H: ‘The club as a whole is very structured and it’s important to also have a squad to follow suit. We are well in the building phase and it’s a gradual development.

The building process is a strategic one as you look at different areas of the team to be worked on, but the good thing here is the adaptability of the players themselves. They tend to learn quickly and adjust to the style of the coach and blend well with each other.’

THOUGHTS ON THE EPIDEMIC OUTBREAK.

O.H: ‘We are sportsmen and there is a lot of contacts that go on during games, so it is only right for us to educate ourselves as a group and individuals on the basic precautions.

For ourselves and fans I will like us to remain safe by taking to advise from the health organizations and let’s heed to cleanliness at all times.’
